Kevin Beauchamp PT, 2802, Blue Cross #18057
Kevin completed his Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Manitoba. Prior to entering into physiotherapy, Kevin worked as a professional counselor, obtaining his Master of Counselling Degree in 2013. As a counselor, Kevin learned many important skills that are just as important in Physiotherapy. One crucial skill was how to make his clients feel heard.
As a young teenager, Kevin took up skateboarding and spent over nearly 20 years pursuing that passion. Skateboarding provided the opportunity to travel throughout Canada, California, and Costa Rica on numerous skate trips. As an adult, Kevin became interested in endurance sports, particularly Triathlon (swim, bike, run). From both his experience as a skater and an endurance athlete, Kevin understands the challenges that come with training for a sport you love. He also understands how frustrating and disruptive unexpected injuries can be. It was through his own experiences of injury that Kevin came to appreciate the role that physiotherapy and exercise-based rehab can play in the rehab process.
Kevin’s goal as a physio is to be a lifelong learner. He is committed to putting his best in to the work he does and constantly improving as a physiotherapist. Kevin also believes that learning from patients and tailoring treatment to their specific needs is essential for success. It is with this approach that Kevin can help patients develop the tools they need to gain confidence and be in control of their own health and wellness.
